Subject: It is a timecapsule.
Subject: It is a timecapsule.
With the beautiful illustrations and comprehensive description, it is a window to the past. The tone is a bit derogatory and judgemental at a few places, after all, it is
a product of it's time. But the important thing is how the book manages to surprise you. It has pretty progressive viewpoints at many places (although the thought process behind it is might be archaic). So I would say just read it with a pinch of salt and count your blessings that you exist now and not the 1900s.
